The Salamanca district of Madrid stands as the city’s main luxury enclave and one of Europe’s most concentrated retail hubs. Besides flagship stores for Prada, Gucci and Spain’s own Loewe, the area is also home to some of the country’s biggest fashion success stories, from El Corte Inglés to high-street heavyweights Zara and Mango. Little wonder, then, that Latin American brands view the Spanish capital as a familiar gateway to the rest of Europe.
