For Russian Brands, Wartime Gains Fade as Economy Stalls



Four years have passed since the exodus of Western brands from Russia. Companies from LVMH to H&M exited the market following Moscow’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, as sanctions hit a country that once accounted for a modest but meaningful share of global fashion demand. With most labels out of the picture, local high-street and fast-fashion brands moved quickly to capture market share.
